Lane Harvey, who led the Florence Flamingos as Manager in 2022, will return for the 2023 season.
Harvey, who serves as infield and bench coach for Division II Washburn University of Topeka, Kansas during the collegiate season, is entering his fourth year in the CPL after leading the Flamingos in 2022 in their first season at Carolina Bank Field and spending a season with both the Macon Bacon and Holly Springs Salamanders as an assistant
Cameron is originally from Monett, Missouri. He attended Crowder College in 2017 and 2018 where he helped the Roughriders make their second ever appearance in program history in the 2017 Junior College World Series.
After two years at Crowder, Witt transferred to Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina for one season in 2019. A member of the Big South Conference, Witt helped the Fighting Camels win a conference championship, conference tournament, and earn a berth into the East Carolina Regional that year.
Witt began his coaching career when he served as the head coach for the Springfield Cobras in the Show-Me Collegiate League during the summer of 2021. He is now in his second year as a graduate assistant for Missouri State University where he assists in the development of hitters and outfielders.
Fernando was born and raised in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico and he is in his second year as the pitching coach for the Night Hawks of Thomas University. Gonzalez played at the University of West Alabama for the 2014-2015 seasons after transferring from East Central Community College in Decatur, Miss. In his senior season, the right-handed pitcher earned All-GSC, All-Region, and All-American honors.
Prior to Thomas, González spent time playing for the Gary Southshore RailCats, of the American Association of Professional Baseball, playing baseball in Puerto Rico, representing his country in international tournaments, and finishing his bachelors’ degree in Accounting.
González resides in Thomasville, GA but frequently spends Holidays with his family in Puerto Rico.
