Daulton Horton is currently an assistant baseball coach at McPherson College, an NAIA program in McPherson, KS. At McPherson College, Horton coaches outfielders, assists with hitters, as well as runs the strength and conditioning program.

Horton was an assistant coach at Ranger College in Ranger, Texas, in 2019-2020. In 2018-2019, Horton was an assistant coach at McPherson College his first year of coaching. He also was the head coach for the Highland Haymakers in the Palm Springs Collegiate League in the summers of 2019 and 2020.

Horton is a native of Denton, Texas, where he attended Denton Guyer High School. After high school, he continued his playing career at Hesston College, a junior college in Hesston, Kansas. He then transferred to the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff (UAPB), a NCAA Division I program. At UAPB, he played outfield and pitched. Horton graduated from UAPB in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
