THIS WEEK IN FLOCKTOWN
Baseball season is among us! It’s the best time of the year! You better start marking your calendars up with flamingo-filled fun all summer long. Here’s what is going on in Flocktown this week:
Game One: Thursday, May 23rd vs Macon Bacon
We finally (FINALLY) play baseball this week. Your Florence Flamingos start their 2024 championship run on THURSDAY. The Flock looks to burn the Bacon (more than once this season) in front of a sold out Carolina Bank Field! Didn’t get tickets? Don’t worry, there’s more going on in Flocktown for you this weekend.
Game Two: Saturday, May 25th vs Wilson Tobs
This is another great game for opening weekend as our alter ego, the Pee Dee Pecans, take over Carolina Bank Field for the first time this season. This is also our first SONIC Friends and Family deal game. For just $40, you get FOUR tickets, FOUR hats and a $32 SONIC gift card. Saturday is Scrubby’s Night too! One of Flo’s best friends will be there celebrating Opening Weekend. Don’t miss out – this great game will be sold out before you know it!
Game Three: Monday, May 27th vs Lexington County Blowfish
Now we know Monday is “technically” next week, but we wanted to put this on your calendar now. Our three-game homestand concludes with a celebration of our flamazing First Responders as the Flock looks to dry out the Lexington County Blowfish. The team will be wearing specialty jerseys that will be available for auction. We will also be honoring several hometown heroes throughout the night, and there will be trucks/cars/K9 units out as well.
